Tackling Stress

More than half a million people are stressed by their work, so much that it makes them ill. Indeed one in five of us finds work highly stressful and each stress-related illness leads to an average of 29 days off work.

There is a clear distinction between the motivational buzz and the kind of excessive stress that can make you ill.

To help people keep the pressure in check, Jane Hicks & Associates offers a specialist ‘Tackling Stress’ service which helps you to spot when the pressure is getting out of hand for you or your workers and to know what to do about it.

How you will benefit

  • Learn to reduce stress by rebalancing your energy output
  • Learn to care without becoming worn out
  • Learn to use your authority for the benefit of all
  • Learn how to get along better with others at work and play
  • Learn how to enjoy being an individual in your own right.

What does the process involve?

  1. Completing the 30-minute TIFF questionnaire online or on paper
  2. Either a group workshop to learn about the functional fluency model (3 hours) followed by an individual one-hour feedback session to explore the client's own profile. Or a combined individual session to learn the functional fluency model and explore a client's own profile (1½ hours)
  3. A follow-up meeting to reflect on the client's profile (1 hour).
